Abstract: Abdominal aortoenteric fistula (AAEF) is a rare but life-threatening complication of abdominal aortic aneurysms,
and is also an uncommon cause of gastrointestinal hemorrhage. We report a case of primary abdominal aortoduodenal fistula
in a 74-year-old male patient, whose main clinical manifestations were abdominal pain, hematochezia, and hematemesis.
Colonoscopy, abdominal enhanced computed tomography (CT) and three-dimensional reconstruction angiography confirmed
the diagnosis. The patient recovered well after emergent surgical management.
