Abstract: Objective To develop a DNA microarray t echnique for fast diagnosis of plague. Methods Restriction display polymerase chain reaction (RD-PCR) and hybridization with fluorescently labeled cy5 were em ployed for detecting the sam-ple DNA of Yersinia pestis, Yersinia pseudotubercul osis and Yersinia entercolitica. Results The prepared microarray is capa-ble of distinguishing Yersinia pestis from Yersinia pseudotuberculosis and Yersinia ent ercolitica in the same genus. Conclusion The constructed DNA microarray is an effective diagnostic tool for the detection of Yersinia pestis.
