Abstract: In order to probe into the active and effective scheme for preoperative evaluation of total hip replacement (THR) in elderly patients, a retrospective analysis was performed in 31 patients over 75 years old on the preoperative routine and special examinations, classification of the visceral complications, and preoperative medication. The result indicated that correct preoperative evaluation and control of the complication helpe ensure more favorable clinical outcome of the aged patients with THR.
