An overview of basic and clinical studies on the management of craniocerebral gunshot injury in hot and humid environment

Abstract: The author systemically reviewed the pathophysiological characteristics of craniocerebral gunshot injuries in a hot and humid environment, and such an environmental factor was considered to inflict a secondary brain insult as one of the main causes for early morbidity and mortality of patients after the injury. Management of such injuries remains an important subject in the researches of military medicine, the results of which can be of great significance to reduce the mortality rate of the injuries.
