Journal of Southern Medical University Reclaims the Title of "2025 China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journal"
Recently, China Academic Journal International Citation Report (2025 Edition), jointly compiled by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Tsinghua University Library, was officially released. Journal of Southern Medical University once again earned the title of "2025 China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journal" (TOP 5%).
Following its consecutive 8-year recognition (2016–2023) as a "China Excellent Academic Journal with International Influence" (TOP 5%–10%), the journal first entered the ranks of "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" (TOP 5%) in 2024 and retained this prestigious honor in the current year. This achievement marks the journal’s steady progress on the path of internationalization and the consistent elevation of its global influence.
A total of 100 Chinese-language academic journals and 150 English-language academic journals nationwide were selected for the list of "2025 China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals (Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology)". The TOP journal brand for international influence has gained widespread recognition from the academic journal community and research management authorities, playing an active and vital role in helping Chinese journals step onto the international stage, establish global academic brands and boost cultural confidence.
