Journal of Southern Medical University selected as one of the "2024 Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals in China"
On December 24th, the "Annual Report on International Citations of Chinese Academic Journals" (2024 Edition), jointly developed by CNKI and the Library of Tsinghua University, was officially released. Journal of Southern Medical University was selected for the first time as one of the "2024 Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals in China" (Top 5%). Previously, our journal had been honored as an "Excellent Academic Journal with International Influence in China" (Top 5%-10%) for eight consecutive years (2016-2023). This selection as a "Most Internationally Influential Academic Journal in China" indicates a further enhancement of its international influence.
A total of 100 Chinese-language academic journals and 150 English-language academic journals were selected for the "2024 Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals in China (Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology)". The brand of top internationally influential journals has been widely recognized by the journal community and research management departments, playing a positive and significant role in promoting Chinese journals onto the international stage, establishing international academic brands, and fostering cultural confidence.
